After update: year-old posts now showing first?

  • I just updated automatically to version 3.1.1 and I checked my blog to find that my homepage is showing 1.5 years ago!? I checked my dashboard and found all my recent posts are still there and in order and I can navigate to them in the archives section of my sidebar.
    By why the old posts showing first?

    Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I am stumped and foolishly I haven’t backed up my blog in a few months.

    Well I figured out that the issue was the category exclusion plugin I was using. But the issue is that I deactivated it and tried another, but it still does the same; doesn’t display the proper categories on the main page.
    Perhaps there is an issue with category exclusion with the new 3.1.1 update?

    I’m Stumped.
