[Plugin: Redirection] import CSV to bulk update URLs

  • Hi,

    I want to use the CSV import function to add and edit links to the redirection plugin.

    What I do is download the CSV file from the Module section and then edit that CSV file to include the Existing links (which I changed the Target URL) and I added new links.

    When I import via the Options section, the Existing links doesn’t get updated, it just gets added on to the list. Is there any way for it to Update instead of Add if the Source URL is just the same?

    I need to edit 100 links so I don’t want to do it individually. The target URL will initially be product URLs then when I get approved as an affiliate, I will change all those product URLs to Affiliate links.

  • Hi Steph, it’s not possible to update existing links – the import will always be appended to the current list. Could you not delete the existing ones and then import?

    Yeah, that’s what I thought too. I’ll just delete the existing ones and then import. Thank you so much John for both the great plugin and the help!
