Category slug issue – Already taken slug?

    This happened to one another wordpress blog of mine, and i ignored that, but the issue is that my alteast blog also got this issue, even before i did anything….

    I made a category – Breaking News and when i tried giving the slug breaking-news to it, it came as breaking-news-2

    I have not used this slug for any other category. In fact there is no such category in the entire list of categories, so why am i not able to use that slug…?

    Please help.

    Damn. Ignore this…. Found out the issue through common sense….

    A Post Tag was given this slug, and that was the issue… ?? . Thanks anyway.
