Need Help Logging in to wordpress

  • Just installed wp and can,t get it to run. I get to page that says database name ,username ,password ect. I put in the password and name ect. Then I hit the continue button and I get this msg: Error establishing a database connection.No further! What am I doing wrong? Any help will be appreciated

  • have you created the database? it can’t connect unless you have (and you’d remember if you had!)

    thanks for the fast response. No I don’t believe I have, and the next question is ,How do I do that?

    does your hosting have cpanel for you to use? if it does follow these steps. it may seem pretty daunting but take a deep breath, maybe grab a coffee and follow the instructions slowly and to the letter and you’ll be fine, i promise ??
