removing comment box

  • On some of my pages the comment box is still showing even though I have unchecked “comments” and “discussion” in the screen Options drop-down menu.
    What’s the deal with that. It’s only showing up on some pages

  • have you checked the comments setings for the individual pages – ‘discussion’ field below the page editor?

    if this does not show, click ‘screen options’ near the top right, and tick ‘discussion’ ;
    that should give you the ‘discussion’ field below the page editor, where you can check and tick the comment options.
