on the form edit page, check ‘Reset styles’ and click update

This was the closest thing to “reset styles” I could find:
Reset the styles to labels on top (default).

I just added a new setting:
“CSS style for CAPTCHA input field on the contact form”
This has a width:50px; that should make it do what you want.

update to the latest trunk version and it should be fixed.

PS you can make an “I agree to terms” check box, check “Required field”, and “Default option” 1

Then you can go back to the normal submit button.
