Line height (multiple vs. single post view)

The line height of my blog in homepage (multiple post) view is different that in single post view. In single view the line height is too tight, I want it to match the homepage height. I did add the code below to the style.css file and that is controlling the line height of the homepage view.

	line-height:17px;
}
