Using Webpress in an Existing website
-
Hello Everyone,
First off: I hope I put this in the right category. Sorry if I didn’t.
I’m new to WordPress and have been trying to integrate it into an existing website.
What I would like to know and how to do is:
Can WordPress be used in association with an existing website for-instance: You have your content (your pre-built php website) and just below your content people post comments. Like how Amazon has reviewers posting comments?
I’ve followed the tutorial (Integrating_WordPress_with_Your_Website) on integrating wordpress like what I want above. But my site keeps on failing on the required: require(‘./wordpress/wp-blog-header.php’); It’s just blank. I did install WordPress correctly because I can go to the Just Another WordPress Site.
The way I perceive how WordPress can work is that: you can have a website where half of the page is your stuff and then below that, when placing the code found in the tutorial, WordPress takes over, either with blogs or comments or whatever.
Am I wrong?
Thanks,Til
