Post thumbnail causing unwanted code to appear

    Can anyone tell me why enabling the featured image causes me to get this little bit of code at the top of all my posts

    I isolated the problem and realised it was down to the featured image, but I have no idea how to fix it without removing the function, and with it, all my featured images.

    This is a relatively new problem, I never experienced it before.

    Any help?
