Admin login takes me back to wordpress.com backend

Did you change Name servers so that the domain name points your host you need log in wordpress.com and change.

Yes, the domain names are currently pointing to my hosting provider NOT to wordpress.com

What do I need to change in my wordpress.com account when I log in?

I looked at your url and seems as if it is pointing you your host now all you need to do set it up and export your data from wordpress.com and import them on your host.

Really? that will allow my to login to my self hosted install admin backend? I really never thought that would be the issue, I will try this and post my findings, thank you!

when you installed wordpress on your host what urls did you use as it should not go to your wordpress.com you should have
https://www.followsydney.com

Because this continues to happen I have deleted all of my wordpress files on my server so right now none of those links work but I am going to reinstall wordpress on my server and try again as I cannot figure out what else to do, any other advice would be greatly appreciated ??

Ok I deleted all of my files on my server and then re-uploaded the download install from www.ads-software.com but when I go to the install page it says it is already installed.

Try emptying your browser cache. Or use another browser or machine. Your login url works for me.

@followsydney did you check with your host if there was a redirect set for your domain name.

I checked your domain name name I find this
Registrar : GODADDY.COM, INC.
Referral URL : https://registrar.godaddy.com
Whois Server : com.whois-servers.net
Nameservers : ns1.panelboxmanager.com
ns2.panelboxmanager.com

are this name servers yours and is right that you registered domain at Go Daddy

The login page works because it shows up, the problem is when I actually login, it takes me to the wordpress.com admin backend which I don’t understand why! But I will try to login on another machine and browser as I will try anything at this point.

I do not believe there are any redirects setup and the registrar and server names look correct, but I will double check.

Ah! That wasn’t made clear earlier. Check with your hosts that your domain isn’t still being redirected to your wordpress.com site.

Have you checked your urls Go to PhpMyAdmin
click on your database
_options table click on first icon browse

and check your urls it may 1 or 2
and 37 or 38 see if you have them where you installed wordpress.

if they are not then click on pencil and edit the url in big box and click Go
