Turn off footer advertisement

I can completely understand why a plugin developer would want to advertise their plugin in the footer of a person’s blog.

Unfortunately, advertising what plugin you are using also gives hackers information to exploit any security vulnerabilities in that plugin.

I have seen evidence, only in the past two days that someone was trying to do that on my server, with this particular plugin.

How do I turn this off in the footer?
