Remove Commentary option from page?

    I am having a presentation page on my blog, and I would like to turn off the possibility to comment on that page, but still allow comments on the blog posts. Is that possible?

    I have not found anywhere to enable/disable posting on a “page”?

  • Edit the page
    Click Screen Options at the top.
    Tick Discussion
    Untick “Allow comments” in the new Discussion pane.

    this is an often asked question – there should be some answers if you use the forum search.

    on the ‘edit page’ page in the dashboard, below the page editor there should be a ‘discussion’ field; if this is not there, click the ‘screen options’ near the top right of the page, tick ‘discussion’ there; then go back down and disable the comments in the ‘discussion field’ below the page editor.

    general tip: get familiar with all settings, functions, buttons, options, etc in the dashboard.
