Login w/ Ajax plugin problem with Sliding Door

Previously I was using Twenty Ten and I just recently changed my theme to give my site a new look and check it out with the Sliding Door theme and so far I’m loving it. However I am having one major bug that I can’t seem to fix and it’s driving me crazy.
The password box for login w/ ajax is white and you cannot see that characters are being typed into it. The login process does still work if you do type in your password. You can see it on the left hand side for login. Does anyone have a solution?
