    Hi,

Mi website is in spanish so I need to edit all messages on the blog section such as Posted on, Edit, Comments…etc. to its corresponent word in spanish.

I know this probably is a very simple operation, and probably (I don′t know) has something to do with the single.php template.

Can anybody guide me to the solution please?

    Thanks in advance!

  • there are a limited number of template files in a theme – edit them all and work through them line-by-line to find all the words that need to be translated.

Hi Alchymyth, thanks for your time ?? I’ve been looking for a while for the solution in different templates such as single.php, functions.php and comments.php but I haven′t been able to fix the problem. I’m not really an expert in php. I though that by changing the line on the single.php where the “Posted on” text appears would do the trick, but it didn′t. If you could give me a clue that leads me to the solution I would appreciate it.

    Thank you!

it may be a tedious task, but there is no other way than to work through the files (definitively index.php and single.php, maybe more) and to search for the words that you want to replace.

this is ‘pattern recognition’ – not php.

Hi Alchymyth, thanks for your reply!

I finally could solve the problem in index.php. I simply looked for the words I needed to replace and replaced them.
