• I use Custom Contact Forms, and after submitting a form, the page breaks and this error message appears at the top of the page:

Warning: array_merge() [function.array-merge]: Argument #2 is not an array in /home/gorilla/public_html/wp-content/plugins/w3-total-cache/lib/W3/Request.php on line 106

I have deactivated the plugin for the moment. Should I leave it deactivated until the next update is released?

You may want to try turning on W3TC piece by piece, and sort out WHAT is breaking your other plugin.

    That sounds like work. ??

yes, well, if running a website wasn’t work, people wouldn’t make their living off it ??

Dang, I thought the idea was to LOOK like it was work while actually doing as little as possible! ??

@cjvannette, did you find a solution yet for this? Please tell me you did the work so I won’t have to…

i also have this issue – can anyone assist? @custom-contact-forms can you help / update?

Form plugins, like gravity forms, which I use, don’t tend to work when cached. Under page cache settings and database cache settings (if necessary) have you included the pages containing the forms under “Never cache the following pages”?

Hi can you please let me know how this would look for my site?

    is it:

    https://jonesbaywharf.com/contact/online-enquiry/
    https://jonesbaywharf.com/contact/maintenance-request/
    https://jonesbaywharf.com/owner-contact-form/

    or

    /contact/online-enquiry/
    /contact/maintenance-request/
    /owner-contact-form/

    ??

Perhaps if you just go direct to https://jonesbaywharf.com/ then you will be able to click to the contact forms page, submit the form and view the error…

@tobes- The latter examples are correct:
    /contact/online-enquiry/
    /contact/maintenance-request/
    /owner-contact-form/

Under page cache settings, include all pages containing the forms under “Never cache the following pages” and click save. Then empty the page cache and see if your forms are working properly.

If not, under database cache settings, include all pages containing the forms under “Never cache the following pages” and click save. Then empty all caches and see if your forms are working properly.

If not, under object cache settings, include all pages containing the forms under “Never cache the following pages” and click save. Then empty all caches and see if your forms are working properly.

I’ve never had to exclude form pages from the object cache settings.

    hi @robnalexpress

    Thanks for your comments.

I have followed your suggestions to the letter – unfortunately both problems still exist.

When captcha in enabled then i get this issue:
You filled out the form incorrectly.
? You copied the number from the captcha field incorrectly.
    < Go Back to Form.

And if i remove captcha and just have the form, it works, but it has the following notice appear at the top of the page and throw out the page formatting…

Warning: array_merge() [function.array-merge]: Argument #2 is not an array in /home/jonesbay/public_html/wp-content/plugins/w3-total-cache/lib/W3/Request.php on line 106

Bummer! Which form plugin are you using? You might get better help from that plugin’s forum, if there is one.

I’ve used both contact7 and gravity forms with W3TC and never had any problems. Currently using Gravity Forms (a paid, but well worth it plugin) here and here.

    Talk to me about it!!

I am using Custom Contact Forms – this is a killer plugin, free with fully customisable forms – except that with the latest upgrade of W3TC its now broken…

    ??

Are you using a CDN? Maybe some of the plugin files don’t serve properly from the CDN? For instance, I have these 2 under CDN rejected files:

    wp-content/uploads/wpcf7_captcha/*
    wp-content/uploads/imagerotator.swf

    i use CIMY image rotator?

and i am trying to use the captcha element of custom contact forms (but she no work…)
