Header image not changing/refreshing – Andreas01 theme

  • I’m using the simple but excellent WP-Andreas01 v3.0b theme, and need to change the front page header image.

    I’ve uploaded the new image to the wp-content/themes/wp-andreas01/img folder using FTP. I’ve double-checked this is the correct image, named front.jpg, replacing the original.

    The theme editor shows /img/front.jpg” width=”950″ height=”200″ for the image.

    I’ve refreshed the theme, I’ve refreshed my browser, but I can’t get the image to change. I realise I’m making a simple error, but could anyone please advise?

    It eventually displayed the correct image.

    Is there any reason there should be such a delay (6 hours) for an image to refresh?
