Menu li explanation

  • Hi, i would like to know how can i create a wp menu with the template tag wp_nav_menu with some text under every LI element for example:

    HOME -> First Page
    CONTACT -> Get in touch!
    etc…

    and to edit this text in the wp-admin.

    i already have the wp menu created but i would like to implement this.

  • From Appearance–>Menus, click screen options in the upper right hand corner, and then click to check off “descriptions”. That will put a new field in each menu item where you can enter that text.
