DOMDocument error

    Thanks for fixing the last two issues I raised by releasing Zotpress 4.2.2, which we’re now running on our WP 3.1.1 site.

    However, the sample page that was working last week now displays a nasty-lookin’ DOMDocument error:

  • Yes, I’m having the same issue (error code below). I see in other posts that it may be a timeout issue with my host, and I haven’t a clue as to what to ask Bluehost to do to help me fix it!

    I’m currently troubleshooting this issue … I’ve come across it too.

    Edit: I can trigger this error when the Zotero server sends back a blank page (e.g. by requesting 95 citations), which makes sense (the error says it can’t find the ‘<‘ start tag). So unfortunately this looks to be a problem on the Zotero server itself.

    I can try to set up a friendlier error message, but other than that, I’m not sure what to suggest. You can try emptying the cache and refreshing the page and hope the Zotero request gets through the server.

    I just released Zotpress 4.2.3, which provides a more friendly error message AND a way to selectively delete the cache and try making the Zotero request again.
