Easing slider in page header

Hi,
I have installed easing slider, but I cannot figure out how to insert it into my header next to my logo.

I have tried putting the code
<?php if (function_exists(‘easing_slider’)){ easing_slider(); }; ?>
in just about every place on my header.php

Any help please
