[Plugin: Contact Form 7] Contact form code not replaced by form

  • I’ve build a form (a simple form nothing fancy) and pasted the code in the editor: [contact-form 1 "Contact"]

    But when I visit the page it shows the code and doesn’t replace it with the form I’ve build.

    Not sure if I did anything wrong because I’ve used this plugin without problems numerous times in other WP sites.

    Can someone give me a hand?

  • I’m having the same problem all the sudden. I have a site with two contact forms that have been customized from the default. However. when I visit the page the form is on, all that displays is the default form.

    I’ve checked both pages, and the have the correct short code for the custom form, but the default contact form is all that is displayed.

    I’ve tried deactivating and reactivating the plugin (did nothing) and short of wiping out the wpcf tables in the database and starting over, I have no idea how to resolve this issue. Anyone have ideas?
