  • I’m not a pro and I started ‘playing’ with WP a couple of months ago… This is what i’ve been working on for some time (changing themes and enhancing them). Found a perfect theme to suit my needs (Thought Mechanics) and made some changes in it.

    What do you think about it (changes in the theme and the content)? I know it’ll be hard for you to judge the content cause it’s in Polish ?? but what are your overall impresions?

    Still have some things do to… things like integrating eSPG, and styling lists…

    It’s a really nice little design. Only thing I didn’t like was the small light grey stripe across; for a split second I thought I was back in Netscape 3 using frames X-)

    If it was mine, that’s the only thing I’d change. Perhaps a bit more deadspace above the nav. links too; looks a bit lost up there if I have loads of tabs open in FF.

    Can’t understand a word of it, but very cool.

    It’s called Polish ??

    That grey stripe at the top is what I may call a prototype :] still looking for the best way to fit in the navigation bar. Thought about making it “position: fixed”. What I want to do is to keep the site light-weight… kinda minimalistic. Still have some plans and things to do and problems with the server didn’t allow me to fulfil them. Thinking about making it a little bit brighter… now it’s kinda gloomy.

    It would be a cool site to have a php based css “colour theme” switcher… Quite easy to implement and then you could have selectable gloomyness ??

    I’ve made some minor changes. Still thinking about making the site brighter…

    ToDo:
    – style lists
    – integrate eSPG
    – make some changes to the archives and links

    Can anyone tell me how to stretch for example this page to full height? I want short pages to show at full height…

    It looks good but the bar to the right disappears behind the main content when I “narrow” my browser, maybe trim some whitespace from the image to the left?

    looks great. rocky style. nice and raw!

    I like it. But I feel the light grey text against the grey background image makes the text hard to read, especially with the small font size.
