Problem loading wp admin page

    I am trying to get to the bottom of the problem I’m having regarding my wp-admin page and website not loading.

    I am using Bluehost as a host and each time I contact them they say my site is loading fine their end. From my end though I can only get access to the site and wp-admin for a few minutes before it goes down and I get the “Problem loading Page” error message. I have no problem browsing through any other web pages and my other site with my portfolio on https://www.mattdeeganportfolio.com always loads fine.

    I have cleared my browsing history, cookies etc, but nothing seems to make any difference. I have also tried to tidy up the content so the site can run as smoothly as possible, but to no avail.

    I can login to the Bluehost admin page and edit it from there, but I can’t check the site afterwards as it won’t load.

    I tried upgrading to the latest version of WordPress, but there seem to be problems with some functions so I reverted to 3.1.2 as everything within wordpress (when I can get access) works just fine.

    We also have several domain names pointing to the site such as https://www.kamiliun.co.uk which loads up to some extent, but not properly. Kamiliun.com is the main domain name

    I know there have been topics about this subject posted previously, but I can’t find one that is resolved.

    Any help would be much appreciated,

  • The site loads fine for me but wp-admin takes me to a users login not a wp login.

    Have you done the normal debug? Rename the plugins folder and revert to the twentyten theme. Try to log on. Restore all one-by-one until it breaks.

    I have renamed the plug-in folder to plug-in2 so no plug-ins are active and it worked fine for a day or so at which point I though I had solved it, but it’s back to what it was now. I haven’t tried changing the theme back to twentyten so I guess that’s the next step…

    Yes, you need to rule out theme problems.

    Tried the twentyten theme and it worked, but the site is having one of it’s good hours and was working beforehand. The thing is we had a completely different site on the domain https://www.kamiliun.com and the reason I put the current one up is because we were already having problems.

    Still confused because it’s so intermittent!?!

    The site is down now and the problem is I can’t change the theme over when it’s down as I can’t access it!?!

    Very stuck here – any more thoughts anyone?

    The site seems to be running fine for me. If you notice any difference with the plugins deactivated and with the theme set to twentyten, then it seems that your plugins/theme would be the problem.

    The site is currently running well for me but, if it is fully down and completely inaccessible, you may want to contact your host and make sure they know if there’s a problem or not and, if there is a problem, that they’re working on it.

    I’ve been having trouble with my WP blog admin. The blog page won’t load either, so my readers are not able to load the page as far as I can tell. The page just won’t load. I have not been able to post anything or do anything with my site for the last 3-4 days. It says “The connection was reset. The connection to the server was reset while the page was loading.”

    I’ve changed nothing on my computer, servers, nothing. The page just stopped loading!!! This is the only site that I have problem with, all other websites that I go to load with no problem. I tried Firefox and Chrome, it won’t load on either on of them.

    I hope somebody responds because last time I posted here in the forum about 2 months ago, no one ever replied.
