• Hi. Is there any way that I can get the “manage” section of the administration panel to only display the posts created by the user who is logged in? Right now, for a user level 1, you can only edit your own posts (which is what I want) but you can also view all of the other posts made, including those made by the administrator. Can I hide these posts made by other users from the user who is logged in?

  • https://codex.www.ads-software.com/User_Levels might help you determined which user level can see and do what. Have you searched the forum for other user level issues? I believe that this was discussed not long ago.

Hi. I’ve searched the forums and haven’t found anything quite like what I’m looking for. I’ve seen plugins that hide posts from users of a certain level and below, but it hides the posts everywhere, not just in the admin panel. The reason I’m asking this is that I will have some users who might be overwhelmed by all of the posts that are displayed when they go to manage their own. As it is now, even at user level 1, when you go to manage your posts, all of the posts that every user has displayed show up. Then you have to scroll through the list to find your own. I want to make it so that only the user’s posts show up. Is this possible? Thanks.

The enhanced views plugin will allow you to browse by author:

Otherwise, you’d have to hack into the core code.
