[Plugin: Ping.fm Custom URL] Modify to post Status Updates as Posts?

This plugin is awesome and works great. But I’d like to modify the code in order to post everything that comes in as WordPress Posts, instead of Pings. Right now it’ll post “Blogging” posts from Ping.fm as Posts, but “Status Updates” and “Micro-blogging” come across as Pings. I’d like everything to come across as Posts, regardless of Ping.fm posting method.

Can you point me in the general direction of where in the code these conditions are parsed? Thanks.

(This all comes about because the Seesmic iPhone app can’t handle Blogging posts.)
