mysql help

  • i was trying to update my wp to the last version , i faced Error establishing a database connection i know it’s from the wp-config.php and someone will ask ” are you sure about the info. in the wp-config file ,well yes i am sure but i wana make sure 100% again so my question is :
    how to get the info using mysql ssh ” the username and password of my database”.
    or update the database username and password to get it ready for wp-config.php

    iam the root ?? it’s my server so iam running it my way ,, waiting another comments

    Do you have a recent database backup file? If so, it might be worth creating a new db & user, restoring the backup and then editing wp-config.php to point to the new db. Also try re-booting the MySQL server.

    actualy no when i tried to upgrade auto. usualy i don’t take a backup ! right and last choise for me is restoring the full backup of the whole web .
    my question about the MYSQL thing !
    how to figure out “show or update ” the wordpress database , username,pass using ssh ! ?? again ssh ??
