Website Description Not Displaying

Hi All,

Recently I have noticed that the short piece of text that usually appears below the title in Google has changed and is no longer the description of my website, but instead a short snippet of text from a recent post.

When copying the link into Facebook, it would automatically generate the ‘about’ text but again, now it attempts to put some random text in there.

Any help would be much appreciated.
