• Hey everyone,
    I have installed a new theme on my blog https://digiupdates.com and suddenly I begin to discover that my extra bandwidth is being consumed without my notice. SO i checked the coding of my footer which has been engineered.

    So is there any way out to do reverse engineering of it???

  • All the code for the footer should be located in the footer.php file, which you can access from the Appearance > Editor page of the WordPress administration area.

    What Theme are you using, and where did you get it?

    (p.s. your site is getting flagged as being “hacking” related)

    @chapcoolboy:

    TheSource is a commercial Theme, developed by Elegant Themes. It sounds like you are using a re-distributed version of the Theme, that has been injected with an encrypted footer.

    I would recommend:

    1) Getting the Theme from Elegant Themes, if you really want to use it
    2) Only getting free Themes from trusted sources
