Image size in excerpts

    The thumbnails with my excerpts seem to size themselves and are not proportional to the original. I have tried to resolve this in 2 locations:

    1. I have a thumbnail plug-in – Thumbnail For Excerpts – where I have set the size to 240 by 160

    2. I have also gone into WP media settings to re-set the maximum size allowed for thumbnails

    I have also used the thumbnail regenerator plug in

    All to no avail – you can see on my blog that the thumbnails are not right.

    My initial designer is MIA so I am trying to resolve this myself. I would appreciate any ideas… thanks
