Subdomain for users and permalinks

  • I have set up permalinks and the system created my htaccess file fine, and all the links are updated to look static which is great.

    Now I am taking it to the next step, and I hand edited my htdocs file to redirect subdomains by author, so

    https://bob.mysite.com
    redirects to
    https://www.mysite.com/blogs/author/bob

    This works fine as well.

    But, now I would like to update the links so that they point to my new subdomain rather then the old style permalinks.

    Is there any way to do this?
