• I have purchased theme (Purevision) for WordPress and I worked on the website on test domain (cpanel server). After I was done, I wanted to transfer domain. In the past I transfered many PHP files with databases and procedure should be simple. Files copied to a new server, change config files with new database details and fo course database export from the old site and import on the new server. And of course all paths are changed. But on new location I have problem because after I transfer site, it is displaying default content and not the one I worked on. There are no contents from the pages, posts or widgets. All is like resetted to default. But when you research database you will find that all data is actually there, but again site is displaying defaults. This is happening the same no matter I transfer to GoDaddy server, another cPanel server or to a local computer . It drives me crazy, I don’t know what else to do. I have never seen anything like this, it should be very simple.

    Any ideas ?

I already reviewed this, and like I wrote I am familiar with moving PHP sites with databases. Content is in database, but still on new installation ,WP is not showing them. When you go to test site, and for example open specific widget, content is there, but on the new site there is no content for that widget. I did some more research and found out that it seems that section of Purevision theme options is actually not transfered within database. But this is present on original database and I perform database export like with any other database, but it seems that some sections are not transfered.

    Any ideas why ?

I did some further researches and I found out something weird. When I export database and import on new site, data is there. But when I go to admin page (on newsite), then all theme options are removed , and then I went to check in database and data is no longer there. It is like something is removing data.

Any ideas in that direction ?
