  • Oh, my gosh. Where to start… The version of wordpress on that site is “WordPress 2.3.2” That version has some well known weaknesses if left un-patched. The bottom line is, you have most likely been hacked for some time simply due to a lack of upkeep and and attention to security upgrades.

    At this point, perhaps deleting all the WordPress files, removing the WordPress database, and simply putting up a static page/placeholder of some sort might be your best bet if you aren’t going to use the blog. If you want to keep your content, you’re going to have to backup the database, but before you can reuse it you will have to sift through the content for possible exploits.
