• I have seen the multiple topics on the above and would like to add my bit to the points made.

FIrstly I like the Nextgen Gallery but it has caused me some headaches with the sidebar widget.

I have Nextgen installed and when I install the sidebar widget the slideshow intermittently breaks and gives the infamous rotating circle that many have commented before. The circle seems to ‘appear’ when a new gallery is loaded as my sidebar widget is pulling from All Galleries.

I tried to flash imagerotator and when I turned it on and off the images came bas k in the standard fade slideshow. I actually don’t want ot use flash anywhere for x-platform reasons and thios one has a watermark and you would have to buy it – but no matter)

All is OK now but I am worried it will happen again.

Is the root casue of this some conflicts with other jquery operations that might be running? I also have Metero slides running but only on the front page. People have mentioned the following as possible causes and I have made all these changes

    • Contact Form Plugin Problems – turned them on and off and changed plugin.
    • Order of jquery in the header – changed this
    • The above mentioned image roator

Anybody any fresh ideas as to possible causes. Perhaps the plugin creator could help here?

I have the site behind a ‘Coming Soon’ blocker at the moment as the client is adding content so can’t send the URL – apologies.

    Kieran

    Hi

The problem disappeared and now I have a new problem but I will post this as a separate post.
