Custom Post Type linking to single page

Hi,
After the recent upgrade my trail changed from:
Category > Product Category > Product
to
Category > Product Category > Product Category > Product.
This is similar to what has been exposed in the previous post (still
open).

I have changed the custom page root page by going up one step in the hierarchy to the Category level.

The problem is that the product category previous to the product is linking to the product page; thus it doesn’t go up one level like previously.
