formatting of items

Hi, this plugin works very well, but I would appreciate some help with formatting the items. I just cannot find where to make the changes.
I would like to have a smaller image, less space around the title, and instead of “posted by”, date and # of comments I would need the beginning of the excerpt. I use the CSS that came with the plugin.
Also, I would like to have a link at the end of the results like “show all” which takes me to the normal result page.
