ajaxurl is not defined

  • Hi,
    I get the following error on my wordpress web site in firebug.

    ajaxurl is not defined in file wp-lists.js?ver20101222 (line1)

    I get this error on every page of my site. It does not seem to affect the blog but was wondering why I am getting this error.

    Currently using firefox 5, firebug 1.7.3 and wp 3.1.3

    Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the Twenty Eleven theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

    – resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    resetting the plugins folder did the trick, found the plugin responsible, many thanks
