Separate Comments from Articles

  • Has anyone ever wanted wordpress to have a similar comment system to alistapart.com? I mean in the way of keeping both articles and comments seperate? – I did, and I was surprised that I could not find a plugin to do so! ….. So I decided to make my own “Hack” that allowed me to keep articles seperate from comments.

    I don’t currently have a demo right now but if anyone is interested I would be more than happy to Make a Readme document and walk you through it step-by-step on how to achieve this goal ?? – Send me an email on [email protected] with the subject header “wp-sep-com” and I will get back to you as soon as possible.

    Thats all there is to it. Having it that way means that you can STILL have comments below the article (if you desire) or have them on a seperate page. I might make this into a plugin someday, I don’t have much experience on WordPress so I’m slowly building up a bit of courage to delve into its core code.
