when i search my site on google why does it come up with 'uncategorised'

  • when i google my site, hostilegamer.com, the search brings up my site but it says ‘Uncategorized Hostile Gamer’

    how do i change this to ‘Hostile Gamer – The Latest Gaming News’?

  • Your wp_title() tag is probably returning Category name.

    1) Look in header.php, and see what is being passed to wp_title()
    2) Look in functions.php, and see if wp_title is being filtered
    3) Look for any SEO-type Plugins you have installed/active, as these often moddify wp_title() output
