Template per category

You can certainly make many page templates if that’s what you mean:

I think this is more what the OP wants.
You’ll just create a template category-2.php for Blog, category-3.php for art, etc
Just make sure the cat number matches the cat number in your DB.

Thanks, that works perfectly, but the child categories don?′t use the template for the main. I thought I need to make copies of the main category template an call them with the ID of the children.

You can use any ID number for any categories that you want.
It doesn’t matter. I use them on my site on about 30 of categories, parents and children. Doesn’t matter.

I?′m going to do that, one category file per one ID. More customize capacity.
