    I get this error every time i try to access my site. I read somewhere that it might be because i have the wrong password and username on my servers so i changed my password and change it on my wp-config file also, but still no result. do i have to change anything else?

    my site is hoste on 000webhost

    kmessinger are you sure that is the problem i have? im not sure where i am suppose to enter the mysql username/password…

    You enter it in wp-config.php

    If you are having a db connection error most likely the information in your wp-config.php file is incorrect. The password there and the user name must match. It is not necessarily but could be the same name, password you have for the “servers” – by that I think you mean your login to your hosted account.

    The link gives good instructions for finding out what the problem is.
    You need the correct db name, the db user name, the db password and the db host name. Ask your host or look on the site for the db host name.
