Remove comments area from Home page

Hello everyone,

Please spare me if this is a repeated post or in the wrong section since i am a newbie here.

My query is, that on Home page of my wordpress site, i have disabled the options “Allow comments” from dashboard, but still when i go to home page, previous comments and Comment text box are still there.

Any help/response will be appreciated.
