• Hi, I red-d the post but i had difficult time to save it. Everytime I hit the update button, Internet Explore gave me a message that Internet Explore Stopped working. Finally, I saved my work. Today, I discovered that post disappeared. I started to re-do this page again. The same story: Internet stopped working. I didn’t have this problem before. Please help! Thank you!

  • Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins (yes, all) to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s). Don’t forget the ones in mu-plugins. If you can’t get into your admin dashboard, try resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    – switching to the Twenty Eleven theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

    I discoved that Super Cache may cause the problem. Do you recommend to delete cached files?

    I have deleted cached files before with no problem. You can also just turn Super Cache off and see it that helps. I will say that I use that pluging with no problems.

    So, this sounds as removing cache doesn’t damage your files?

    The plugin has a specific button for deleting cached files. You should use that as that is what it is designed for.
