3rd Party Apps/Tools for posting to WP

I know about w.bloggar. What other client-side applications exist to make interfacing with WP easier ? I was especially impressed with the Flickr upload tool which also seems to resize before uploading. If you haven’t seen it, you can check it out here.

The process of uploading an image one at a time is tedious. Is there another way or is it still a minor feature and we should process images locally and then FTP them later ? I forget the filenames while uploading and there’s no way to select an image once it’s already uploaded or locate the filenames again, is there ?

What I would like is to work like this:
Select an image, upload it and enter my blog text or even ‘blog this’ at the same time. Like many forum applications do, with the Attach Button to select the image. I can then place it in the text where I want it to go.

A program like w.bloggar that can not only post but also upload the images wouldn’t be bad either.

I’m just interested in learning the best way to streamline this process, so that I can create multiple entries in one sitting that isn’t awkwardly back and forth from Upload to Write.
