• Hi,

Having seen that I needed to update Sql for new version of wordpress, I had my service provider move my site to another server that had the correct version for this update.

I have not been able to access the dashboard since.
I have done a manual update which said was successful and then at login updated database, which said it was also successful.

I can not log in to dashboard. Get the following message
Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 33554432 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 30720 bytes) in /home/eclickco/public_html/wp/wp-admin/includes/misc.php on line 472.

Also if I get to login front page does not load properly. If I get a page where I can see toolbar and click on updates, get the following message.

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 33554432 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 122880 bytes) in /home/eclickco/public_html/wp/wp-admin/includes/media.php on line 1985.

    Please advise

  • The PHP memory_limit is set to 32Mb and this is obviously not enough. If your host allows it, you can try increasing this limit (either by a custom php.ini file or with an .htaccess directive, depending on how your host runs PHP – as CGI or DSO).

This, of course, depends on your host’s setup and it would be best to contact them and ask for further assistance.

Thanks for the advise, I have mailed them and if I have any further queries, could I contact you?
