• I’ve spent some time trying to figure this out, and I don’t know if it’s a WordPress problem or my host’s servers.

My WP install is on a server that runs on PHP 5.2. (Yes, I know, I need 5.2.4.) When I try to run the upgrade, WP tells me “You cannot update because WordPress 3.2.1 requires PHP version 5.2.4 or higher. You are running version 4.4.9.”

Does anyone know where the problem lies, and what I can do fix it?

Well, yeah, I know that. They’re in the process of doing that.

But your reply doesn’t address my question as to why WP says I’m on a server with 4.4.9 when I’m not.
