Check that comment handling is turned on fully and if it is make sure that advanced diagnostics are turned on and then make a comment and you should see something appear in the diagnostics log.

I assume you mean the settings in the plugin dealing with comments. I reviewed your user guide and I believe I have everything selected that needs to be selected.

make a comment and you should see something appear in the diagnostics log.

I made a comment on the 10 All-Time post and it did not push to FB. This is the Diag post starting at what I believe to be the relevant point in time. Can you interpret this?

No – thats a Status cache refresh. Clear the log down and then make a comment on a post and then go back and see what is there.

Thanks Steve. OK, I did but isn’t this pretty much the same as the top of the previous log? Seems like its saying something about “Author for this post has no FB account associated” –

The Author of that post doesn’t have a Facebook account linked to it via Wordbooker so it can’t push.

    Thread Starter wadams92101

    (@wadams92101)

Thanks Steve. Your one of the most accessible plugin developers I’ve seen. Your response raises a couple of questions: 1) If a commenter does not have a FB account does that mean his comment will not be pushed to my wall? 2) Since the commenter in this trial was me and I do have a FB accoount (its sending posts to and pulling comments from my account), why is it concluding that I don’t?

    Plugin Author Steve

    (@steveatty)

Its not the person doing the comment – its the author of the post that doesn’t have the FB account associated with it.

Must the author of a post have a FB account in order for comments thereon to be pushed to my FB wall?

    Thread Starter wadams92101

    (@wadams92101)

WordBooker pushed my blog post to my FB Wall. Then one of my FB friends commented on it on my FB Wall. Then Wordbooker pulled the comment into my blog. Then one of my Blog members responded to my FB friend’s comment. It looked like there was going to be conversation between the two but the Blog post comment/reply was not pushed back to my FB Wall thread. It would be great if this plugin could facilitate a conversation essentially taking place in two different places: My FB wall and the Blog. (can it?)

    Plugin Author Steve

    (@steveatty)

Authors of posts must have an FB account associated with them.

Comment handling in Version 1 is problematical and glitchy – some of that is down to FB and some of it is down to the code that was basically bolted onto the plugin to get it working.

Its all being re-written for V2 and I’m not looking at attempting to fix any bugs in the code in V1.

    Thread Starter wadams92101

    (@wadams92101)

Thanks Steve. Must comment authors (distinguished from post authors) have FB accts associated with them too? The comments are pulling from FB to Blog but not pushing from Blog to FB, even though its the same post. Or is it the glitch? What’s your ETA for V2?

    Plugin Author Steve

    (@steveatty)

No comment authors don’t need them – it relies on the Post Author. Were all the comment handling options set when you first pushed the post to FB.

    Thread Starter wadams92101

    (@wadams92101)

I think so but good question. I may have to try a more recent post.

    Thread Starter wadams92101

    (@wadams92101)

Just checked. Yes all comments handling options were set when the post was published. (btw, what is the “x-comments” for the FB status in the plugin settings?)

    Plugin Author Steve

    (@steveatty)

    “x-comments”?
