Child theme with wrong characters

  • Hi!
    I have made a child theme from twenty eleven and a new functions.php-file in my theme to get my own language files to work. Now I have lost the special characters in the norwegian alfabet. Is this something I have to set on the functions.php-file or is there anything else I can do to solve the problem?
