    This is supposed to be a simple plugin, why is all this garbage in it that has nothing to to with it?

    require_once 'inc/json.php';
    require_once 'inc/recaptchalib.php';
    require 'inc/swWSD.php
    require 'inc/WPlize.php

    massive mess-up, I was going to write about this plugin for a large site but not any more, now i’ll just write a simple one on my own.

    at the very least try your plugin before you commit, you possibly just broke thousands of sites. It’s clear you added the code for your other plugin into this one or messed up and committed the wrong code….

    Wow wycks, if you are such a 1337 coder I’ll dump all other plugins for yours. Oh wait, you haven’t submitted a single plugin to the repository.

    So you must be offering community support via the forums as a way of saying thanks for the GPL software. Oh wait, no – in 3 months 2/5 of your posts are “doesn’t work” and 1/5 is a poorly written, vague feature request.

    The last 1/5 is a vague tip that will never be found by a user unless they fluke the search term exactly.

    The developer made a mistake. Read the GPL, and demand a refund. Snarky comments to show off your attempt at wit don’t cut it.

    Hi,

    First of all we are really sorry for the inconvenience caused with this plugin update.

    We already uploaded a fixed version of the plugin which can be downloaded from: https://downloads.www.ads-software.com/plugin/secure-wordpress.2.0.3.zip.

    If you have problems accessing your blog because of the plugin update, simply login via FTP or your host’s control panel and delete the plugin directory. The default plugin directory can be found in /wp-content/plugins/ WordPress sub directory.

    While hoping you find this plugin useful, feel free to post any queries or suggestions you might have on the WebsiteDefender forums; https://www.websitedefender.com/forums.

    Looking forward to hearing from you.

    Regards,
    Robert Abela

    @paulzag

    It simply very irresponsible to commit the wrong code to an update that effects thousands of users.

    I can assure you I do more for WordPress on a daily basis than you do all year so enough with the bs, and I can back that up.

    @wycks: Enough! This is a support forum – not a place for you to parade your accomplishments or voice non-technical opinions. If you are involved in the WordPress community on a daily basis, I would expect a better and more professional level of behaviour from you.

    well, i am pretty sure that wycks is just a regular user.. and doesn’t even know what wordpress is.. lol.
