• Since I updated to version of WP 3.1 (and now 3.2.1), I have been having issues as follows:

    1. images (including header) do not appear, although the location in the article panel for other images is there, with text wrapped around an open area, but no image.
    2. also, when I go into “edit” for a post, the functions bar at the top is all wrong. A bit of black text shows up in parts over top of the function/action boxes.

Tried everything I know, including deactivating plugins & attempting to re-upload images (and header), but no luck.

Thought if I went back to a previous version of WP, that would provide me the solution, for now anyway.

    Thoughts anyone?

    Thanks to all!

    Mike

  • Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the Twenty Eleven theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    – re-uploading the wp-admin and wp-includes folders from a fresh download of WordPress.
