P2 as "Group Blog"…. what about Post Box?………..

I have read that P2 is great for group blogging, and how nice it is to have the Post Box at the top of the page.
As far as I can tell, the Post Box only shows if a user is logged into WP. Is there a way to have the Post Box show the same way the Reply Box shows when you click on “reply”? I would like to have the Post Box show at the top of the page and if the user is not logged in, it would prompt them for a name and email address, the same as when making a reply.
