• Hello,

I generate with php / SQL dozens of articles for future dates when I go on vacation and I set the post_status = future, the post_status does not change for publish automatically when the time comes,

do you know why or how to make it work?

    thank you

    is it a bug ?

Do you have “CRON-jobs” installed on any of your wordpress blogs? Or said like this; unless someone does anything active on the server (like cron does) – nothing will be updates. Every movement and change in the server required either a robot like cron or a human being to trigger something to happend.

(for the record; future posts works just fine for me in 3.2.1).

no cron-jobs installed if it is not build in , is it a plugin ? do you have a link ?

    thank you

Cron-Jobs are server-enabled – but can be called on client-visits to your website. Try looking at the forums for different suggestions – I cant find any suitable complete explenations, Im sorry.

Its not a plugin, its something that has to “happend” on your website – either by you (or someone) visiting it and cron being enabled on client-visits, or your server has to call the cron-job. Atleast thats my best bet.
